Criteria for the Certified Route & Boulderng Setter 2018

The criteria for the Certified Route and Bouldering Setter will annually be published by the official Route and Bouldering Setter Board. All requests must be approved by the corresponding Committee. All Certified Route and Bouldering Setters are automatically member of the Route and Bouldering Setter Board. All candidates are welcome to submit their request.

 

 

The criteria are:

 

• The candidate must have set a minimum of 200 training boulders
• The candidate must have set a minimum of 30 training climbing routes
  
• The candidate must have participated as a route setter in a minimum of 30 bouldering or lead competitions
• The candidate must have participated as a route setter in an official Bouldering and Lead Championship Event.
  
• The candidate must have set a minimum of 20 boulders in a foreign Bouldering or Climbing gym.
  
• The candidate must particpate in the annually workshop that is organized by the committee.
  
• The candidate must have climbed at least one 7b for male and 7a for female climbers.
